The Paramedic Program offered by West Hills College Lemoore and consists of a minimum 1090 hours of instruction, divided into three distinct semesters: theory/classroom instruction (minimum of 450 hours), clinical internship (minimum of 160 hours), and field internship (minimum of 480 hours). Upon successful completion of the program, the student is eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic examination, which is required for paramedic licensure in the State of California. West Hills College offers the opportunity for the student to continue their studies and obtain an Associate of Science Degree with Paramedic Major.
