WHCL held a health and wellness fair on November 29
Around 11’ o clock in the student union at West Hills College Lemoore is basically rush hour as you have the high school, staff and faculty and college student gathering in the heart of the campus to get lunch. On this particular day it was extra congested because there was a health and wellness fair going on, hosted by our very own nursing students. At the foyer of the building a bunch of tables were spread across with the students standing by with lots of goodies and a short presentation on their health topic of choice. This information ranged from eating disorders to alcoholism, and even sleep deprivation. All these short little presentations gave you the information you need to proceed with better knowledge and just a general understanding of health. It was very great for our very own nursing students to take time out from lecture and clinical to teach us about the important aspects of human health.
