The Winter 2019 issue of West Hills Magazine is now available online and in print.

The thirteenth issue focuses on the West Hills Community College District’s motto “Once you go here, you can go anywhere.” It features an in depth look at successful programs and successful alumni.

Stories include the journey of Rodolfo Rodriguez, who went from confused and angry teenager to West Hills College Coalinga sociology instructor; a look at West Hills College Lemoore’s WIN Center and how it changed one student’s life; and a feature on the Pleasant Valley State Prison Equine Care Program, which West Hills has helped to found. The issue also features donor generosity, including the work LA Sanitation is doing providing internships to West Hills College Lemoore students. Also featured are stories of the University of Phoenix/West Hills College Lemoore nursing program partnership, a look at apprenticeships, and a feature on the work CAMP is doing to help guide first generation students.

As part of this issue, West Hills has again published an online blog edition of the magazine.

Printed copies will be mailed to donors and friends of WHCCD. Printed copies will also available on each campus and at the district office, local chambers of commerce, and libraries.
