West Hills College Lemoore’s commencement ceremony will be held on May 23, with 347 participating in the ceremony.
This year, 797 students will receive a total of 1056 degrees or certificates. Almost 30% more degrees and certificates will be awarded this year than last year.
The ceremony will start at 6:00 p.m. in the West Hills College Lemoore Golden Eagle Arena at 555 College Ave.
“Commencement is my favorite time of year,” said WHCL President Dr. Kristin Clark. “It’s the culmination of our students’ hard work, and we are thrilled to celebrate their success as they Finish Strong at West Hills College Lemoore.”
Associated Student Government President Alan Estrada-Rivera will give the commencement speech.
Student Vanity Renteria will sing the national anthem. Students will also be presented with Academic Senate Awards.
