The impact of scholarships: learn how the Forth Family Scholarship impacted one student
As I transfer on to university, I look back at all the opportunities that West Hills College Coalinga has offered me. Along with the experiences that I’ve been able to gain, one of the best moments that has stayed with me was becoming a recipient of the Forth Family Scholarship. This particular award has not only allowed me to discover my own potential, but has also taught me how to go forth and utilize it on my path to success. Apart from that, it has helped me alleviate some of the financial worries that follow first generation college students like myself. Knowing that I have support like this has pushed my focus more so on my goals now than ever before. I’m incredibly humbled to be a recipient and I’d like to express my profound gratitude to both Don & Mary Forth for believing in students like myself and granting us the opportunity to continue achieving our goals.
