Basic Needs Assistance Application
On-Campus

To support Lemoore College student basic needs and academic progress towards graduation, this form is to request assistance if you are facing challenges securing food, housing or other basic needs. Submitting this application does not automatically guarantee for all services applied for.

Emergency Grant
On-Campus

For an unforeseen emergency/crisis such as becoming homeless, eviction, loss of job, medical/dental expenses, or accident, a Lemoore College student can apply for a Financial Aid Emergency Grant.

Eligibility Restrictions

All students must complete a financial aid application (FAFSA or CADAA) to determine eligibility. Contact the Financial Aid Office for assistance. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit units and will need to connect with the Financial Aid Office to determine eligibility.

Financial Aid Emergency Grant

 

Kings County Human Services Agency - General Relief

Provides temporary aid to adults who are not able to support themselves. Services available: KART Passes, Costless Vouchers, Walmart Personal Needs Vouchers, Rental Assistance, Utility Assistance.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.

IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals
