West Hills College Lemoore is hosting a 9/11 Remembrance event on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 9:00 – 10:00 am in front of the Student Union Building.
“Our college wants to take a time as a community to remember the lives that were lost and to reflect on how our country came together to support one another,” said James Preston, Interim West Hills College Lemoore President.
The event is being put together by the Veteran’s Upward Bound program at the college.
At the event, the Naval Air Station Lemoore Color Guard will present colors and will feature a panel of guest speakers, including Kevyn Knotts, Retired Navy Veteran & WHCL Student, Jerry Walsh, Retired Navy Master Chief, and Michael Kendall, Chief, Lemoore Police Department. The community is welcome and encouraged to attend.
