MCI Drill

WHCL worked with the Kings Country Fire Department to host a mass casualty incident drill

On April 12, 2018 the Kings County Fire Department held an emergency drill in Hanford, CA on Houston Ave. At this event, the Kings County Fire Department worked together with Lemoore College’s EMS program to create a school bus collision scenario, with the help of Lemoore High School students as casted actors. The students acted as if they had been in a collision and were severely injured. The firemen and EMS members then acted as they would in a real collision and took all precautions to escort the students off of the bus and into a safe zone where they could receive proper treatment. It was a neat training and learning experience for all who were present.
