WHCC CalWORKs hosted an orientation on August 14
Hello West Hills! The CalWORKs program held an orientation on August 14 and provided the attending students with plentiful information about what being in the program means.
For those of you who don’t know, CalWORKs stands for California Works Opportunities and Responsibility to kids. At Coalinga College, the CalWORKs program's main focus is to serve current cash-aid student recipients who are parents attending college classes as part of their Welfare-to-Work Activity.
Any student who qualifies can join anytime throughout the school year. Don’t worry, it will not affect your financial aid!
