WHCC One Love Workshop

On the night of October 9th, our One Love chapter held an informational workshop about the dangers and warning signs of relationship abuse.

One Love was started by a University of Virginia’s lacrosse players, Yeardley Love, family after she was murdered by her abusive boyfriend. The workshop is a way to spread awareness to those who are experiencing or have been witnesses to relationship abuse, in hopes to prevent another tragic incident such as hers. 5 out of 10 women and 1 our of 5 men will experience some form of relationship abuse. During the workshop they gave out packets that listed the 10 signs of a healthy and unhealthy relationship along with numerous resources to contact including the One Love website, joinonelove.org.
