Students gathered at Firebaugh Center on August 16 for a MESA Orientation
On August 16, 2019 from 12pm-1pm, the MESA program staff, Celena Watson, hosted an orientation for their new and returning members. This program provides students, who are working to be in stem field careers, with help in those much needed jobs. It also benefits students by helping them transfer to a 4 year institution and provides them with different resources and academic advising. I learned that they take trips to interesting places such as Stanford or going camping. For more information, please go to Room 8 on Tuesday from 8am-12pm or Thursday 8am-5pm.
