On Tuesday, October 16, our Firebaugh Center campus hosted a CSU transfer application workshop from 12 to 2.
Our speaker was a Fresno State admissions representative, who went over the process of creating a login for the CSU application website and then began showing them how to apply. There are four sections of the application, which students must complete all of before it can be submitted. These categories are personal information, academic history, supporting information, and program materials. Each section is fairly easy to complete, but it does take time and patience to make sure it is completely with accuracy. This was another reason the workshop was great for students because we had multiple counselors and advisors attend to offer one in one help with each student. No questions went unanswered and every student left the workshop feeling much more prepared and confident! Applications are open now until November 30th, so make sure to apply early.
