North District Center Firebaugh celebrated Cinco De Mayo from April 30 to May 3 with a week's worth of activities!
Firebaugh Center started with a Loteria hosted by DSPS. There were great prizes for the winners & the students that attended had a lot of fun.
That evening was an art exhibition and open house hosted by art teacher Mr. Elias & our very own Firebaugh Center art students displayed their art.
Refreshments were provided & some of the students spoke about their very own art pieces. It was a good turn out.
Firebaugh Center also had a Salsa contest and our staff were the judges. The first place winner was Maria E Herrera from the child development center.
TRIO club had a burrito sale to raise money for the cap and gowns for those graduating.
The Cinco de Mayo event ended with a traditional dance, for entertainment & all those who got to see this dance were very pleased & enjoyed the dance very much.
It was an awesome week here at Firebaugh Center West Hills to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
