Resource Wednesday

Resource Wednesday | Coalinga CollegeLibrary and Learning Resource Center

When you think of a library, you think of a massive building filled to the brim with of books of every size, age group, and genre. And while, yes, Coalinga College’s Library and Learning Resource Center (LRC) is filled with thousands of print materials to support the curriculum at WHCC, it truly is much more than that.

Did you know that the Coalinga CollegeLibrary page offers an online chat feature, enabling students to chat with a member of the Coalinga CollegeLibrary’s team without having to step foot into the library? The same webpage also offers links to a place to reserve textbooks, academic databases, and guides on citations and research.

In addition to WHCC’s online resources, there is a wealth of great in person resources available as well! If you need a quiet place to study, the library is clearly the go-to option, but did you know that you can check out a study room? This is a great option for studying with a partner or when working on a group project.

WHCC’s LRC fully supports e-Learning. There are several computer workstations available for student use, most of which are loaded with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.  Additionally, you can check out a laptop and hotspot for the semester, which are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Visit the library webpage today, or stop by in person, to surround yourself with a multitude of resources offered to Coalinga College students.

Current in person hours for the Coalinga CollegeLibrary are:

Monday - Thursday

7:30 A.M. - 8:00 P.M.
