January's Gold Star Partner of the Month is the City of Lemoore
Lemoore College’s Gold Star Partner of The Month is the City of Lemoore due to their continual support of Lemoore College's work-based learning efforts and efforts to help our students become career-ready.
The City of Lemoore has shown its support through having regular and continual engagement with WHCL students. WHCL has hosted multiple representatives from the City of Lemoore, who visited the campus to help students become career-ready
"Our students have received valuable input and advice from key people within this organization, such as Janie Venegas, the HR/Risk Management Manager, Linda Beyersdorf, the Finance Manager, and Amanda Champion, the City’s Management Analyst," said Tamara Warren, CTE Coordinator, Lemoore College. "We cherish this partnership because the City of Lemoore is central to our community and the lives of our students. Thank you, City of Lemoore, for being a wonderful partner and having such a positive impact in the lives of our students!"
Nathan Olson, City Manager of the City of Lemoore, said the relationship between the City and Lemoore College is of key importance to community growth and opportunity.
"West Hills Community College is a gem on the west side of Lemoore," said Olson. "It is a center that brings together the locals, surrounding areas and the sailors and family members of NAS Lemoore. It is the beginning of our future leaders and a great networking opportunity."
