First, apply for admission to West Hills College. Visit the Online Admissions Application and follow the instructions. An admissions application must be on file in order for West Hills College to receive your financial aid application.
Second, apply for a PIN. Visit the PIN Web Site and follow the instructions. You can choose to receive your PIN either by email or mail. Keep it with you in a safe place. Your PIN is your electronic signature. You will use it to sign your FAFSA online. If you are a dependent student, one of your parents also needs to apply for a PIN. You can fill out a FAFSA and submit it without a PIN. You simply need to print and mail the signature page. However, the mailed signature requires more time to process than the electronic signature. Your FAFSA will not be complete until it has all required signatures.
Thrid, begin and complete the FAFSA. Visit the FAFSA Web Site. If it is your first time select “Fill Out a FAFSA”. If you are a returning user, you can select “Fill Out a Renewal FAFSA” In order to complete a renewal you will need your FAFSA PIN.
