Program Description:
The Social & Behavioral Science Area of Emphasis allows students to take courses which prepare them for possible majors within the fields of criminology, business, economics, geography, psychology, history, sociology, political science, and related disciplines. This major area of study provides the student with an opportunity to learn a variety of theories and perspectives, behavioral and sociological concepts, historical context with respect to particular times, places, events and significant figures, production and distribution analysis, and American and comparative government.

Non-Technical Requirements:
This degree can be completed in a fully-online format. No onsite attendance is required unless the student will be under twenty-one years of age at the time of completion of degree requirements. Two units of physical education are required for students under twenty-one years old in order to receive an associate degree.
