Associate of Arts Degree
The Math and Science Area of Emphasis is designed to provide the student with foundational knowledge and skills in the following areas: the natural sciences, the physical universe, its life forms and natural phenomena. Students will be provided the opportunity to develop mathematical and quantitative reasoning skills and demonstrate an understanding of the methodologies of science as investigative tools and to understand the influence scientific knowledge has on society.

This degree can be completed in a fully-online format. No onsite attendance is required unless the student will be under twenty-one years of age at the time of completion of degree requirements. Two units of physical education are required for students under twenty-one years old in order to receive an associate degree.
