Just in time for the holiday season, West Hills Community College District’s website has a new look. This week, West Hills launched a new, fully redesigned website.
The site can be viewed at http://westhillscollege.com/
The new site includes several new features to better serve current and future students, easier navigation and a modern design.
“We’re exited to have launched this new site and know it will serve our students and community well,” said Amber Myrick, District Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Information.
The redesign of the website was conducted over the course of a year by the WHCCD Marketing Department, with the help of outside vendors.
Several new features on the site include a consolidated news and events page, which will serve as a hub for announcements, press release, and events calendar and a new blog; a College 101 blog providing tips for students; a personalized, browse by interest feature that connects potential students with a degree/certificate program through a short quiz; and a full listing of degree and certificate options.
The site launched in time for the Spring 2018 semester, which will begin on January 12. There’s still time and space in classes for those interested in registering to take classes in the spring.
