The Spring 2018 issue of West Hills Magazine is now available online and in print.

The Spring 2018 issue of West Hills Magazine is now available online and in print. This new issue also serves as the West Hills Community College District’s Annual Report to the community.

The tenth issue of the magazine focuses on the theme of Bridging the Gap: Fostering Student Success through Public, Private Partnership. The magazine features a look at ongoing initiatives, student and college data, each college’s educational master plan and facilities master plans, and the West Hills Community College Foundation.

It also includes features about student hunger, K-12 outreach, the ways in which West Hills helps foster employment and a discussion of broadband in the Central Valley and West Hills’ efforts to improve access.

Data related to each of these topics is discussed and explained. There is also an update on the West Hills strategic plan and planning process and updates on enrollment.

As part of this issue, West Hills has also launched an online blog edition of the magazine. This includes videos and extras not included in the print edition.

Browse through the issue on this blog and get a look at extras including photos, videos and more.

Printed copies have been mailed to donors and friends of WHCCD. Printed copies are also available on each campus and at the district office, local chambers of commerce, and libraries.
