Mission Statement
West Hills College Lemoore Educational Talent Search and Upward Bound Math & Science programs are committed to youth, educational experiences, community partnerships, and providing opportunities to the under served and disadvantaged population. UBM&S will identify low-income, first-generation college bound students and provide them with services. Members will have their math or science interests encouraged and enhanced by qualified instructors, counselors, and positive experiences that promote diversity, cultures, educational experiences and the real possibility of attending a college of their choice.

Vision Statement
All children are great! But, those in their pre-teen and teen years are very special and often forgotten. They are still young enough to hug but old enough to hold a conversation with about the world around them. At times they may appear to be trapped in a human metamorphosis of adolescence and struggling to get out. This is the opportune moment to channel their energy, creativity, sense of self or lack of it, and assist them to see beyond being “stuck in the moment.” UBM&S will promote an environment of trust, respect, open communication, responsibility, civic mindedness, and create a foundation for their future.
