What is the Student Government Association?
Student Government Association (SGA) is a student lead club which participates in all aspects of campus life.  Club members have opportunities to engage in the governing of the college along-side faculty, staff and administrators.

Primary Role
SGA is the representative, decision-making body that runs the student community's affairs and represents students in the participatory government at the college.  In addition, SGA provides extracurricular activities as well as various student services.

 SGA Mission
To promote student unity.
To increase communication between students, faculty, and the administration.
To maintain a strong student identity.

To take full advantage of the Shared Governance mechanism.
To provide students with a unique opportunity to define and promote common interests in the local community.
To encourage growth in students’ involvement, cooperation and cohesiveness; improving the quality of the students’ education.
To put West Hills College Lemoore on the map.

Meeting Information
Every Second and Fourth Monday of the month at 12:00 p.m. - 12:50 p.m. in room 253
