SIFE Philosophy Helping people achieve their dreams through Free Enterprise Education.

We believe that the best ways to improve the lives of others is through Free Enterprise practiced morally.

Our mission is to provide college students the best opportunity on skills through learning, practicing, and teaching the principles of Free Enterprise, (Success is what we specialize).

Training and motivating college students to teach others how to Free Enterprise system works and how to succeed in the global market achieve this mission.

We motivate students by creating competition among rival colleges to see who is the best at teaching others how the world works and how to achieve their dreams.

Our leadership philosophy is "People support what they help create" Our students work as teams, compete as teams, learn to value each team member, and learn to be team leaders.

Our teaching philosophy is “Tell me and I will forget, show me and I might remember, involve me and I will learn." Our students learn by teaching others and they teach more by using hands-on-learning.

Our community service philosophy is “Give a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he can eat for a lifetime." We encourage SIFE students to learn that the best way to help a person in the long run is to equip and inspire them to use their God-given talents and the best of their abilities.

We consider free enterprise education to include three components:

1. Teaching how market economics work.
2. Teaching how business identify and fulfill market needs.
3. Teaching he knowledge ethics needed for a person to succeed in the global market.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO VOLUNTEER? A minimum of 100 hours on behalf of SIFE establishes eligibility for the prestigious SIFE Leadership Award. Additionally, you can place your resume into the SIFE National Job Databank, sponsored by fortune 500 companies. Time spent on SIFE activities allows one to be to complete school work, employment, and family commitments. Any time given to SIFE will be greatly appreciated by all members.

ARE THERE BENEFITS TO BEING A MEMBER? Yes
It builds character, self-respect, self-esteem, and enhancement of writing and oral communication skills, networking and interacting with professionals of all backgrounds and economics status. SIFE allows one to contribute ideas that will be respected by others.

In the spring, the SIFE Team travel to the West Coast Regional Competition.
