• 5C Experience 2015

    5C Experience Finale Open to the Public

    Our annual 5c Experience summer program for 6th to 8th graders from all around the Valley will conclude with a celebration in the Golden Eagle Arena on June 25. The two week gives them the chance to explore robotics, science, technology, math, and the performing arts in a fun environment on the WHCL campus. The finale, which starts at 1:30 p.m. and is open to the public, will feature student performances, projects and a few entertaining surprises. Come on out and see what 5c is all about!

    Over $500,000 in Scholarships Awarded to WHCCD Students for 2015-2016 Year

    A total of over $500,000 in scholarships has been awarded to over 300 students throughout the West Hills Community College District, ranging from partial scholarships to complete tuition coverage. WHCL awarded $344,030 in scholarships to 194 students. » Read more!

  • WHCCD receives donation for scholarships by the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County

    The WHCCD recently received a $30,000 check as part of a yearly commitment by the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County. The district operates the Tulare Lake Compost facility, where WHCL engineering students may soon have an opportunity to intern.» Read More!

    West Hills College is one of the winners of the California Innovation Awards for Higher Education

    West Hills is among 14 colleges statewide to earn one of the prizes, and the only Central Valley college to be included in the list of winners. The honor comes with a $2.5 million award. West Hills was recognized for its unique advance-registration innovation, Reg365, which allows students to register for classes for a full year, all at once. » Read More
