Psychology

The study of human behavior is fascinating. Knowing what sort of mental processes are behind certain behaviors is even more fascinating, which makes psychology the perfect field of study for anyone interested in how the human mind works.

If you’re considering transferring to a four-year college to major in psychology, your path begins with Lemoore College’s psychology program. Designed to give you a better understanding of human behavior, the program will teach you about biological psychology, states of consciousness, learning, memory, intelligence and more.

With Lemoore College's Associate of Arts for Transfer (AA-T), you’ll be prepared for future studies in psychology, counseling, child development, educational psychology, social work, human services, nursing and more. Once completed, the AA-T guarantees your transfer to a school within the California State University system, though not to a particular school or program. Students transferring to a CSU institution will be required to complete 60 units after transfer to earn a Bachelor’s degree.
