Paramedic (EMT) Program

The Paramedic (EMT) program at WHCL provides you with a strong educational foundation. It also prepares you for entrance into EMT career positions within the Central San Joaquin Valley. Students learn how to conduct pre-hospital patient assessments and management, while building a foundational knowledge of clinical procedures.

Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate of Achievement, making them eligible for certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. This program also meets the major requirements for an Associate of Science Degree, with the fulfillment of all General Education requirements.

Program Options

West Hills College Lemoore offers students interested in our Paramedic (EMT) program the chance to earn an Associate of Science Degree or Certificate of Achievement. This degree is designed to help students become eligible to sit for the paramedic exam and qualifies them to work for emergency care providers across the country. Certificates are non-transferable.

Students who complete the program are eligible for certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
