I’m so stressed sometimes. There’s work and life and, of course, school. And then there’s textbooks! Textbooks for my classes used to be so expensive I just wouldn’t buy the book because I couldn’t afford them. Who has $300 to spend on a textbook?
But now, I’ve got one less thing to worry about. I’m taking a class that uses Open Educational Resources, including a zero cost textbook. What does that mean? It means my textbook for the class was free and completely digital. Now, I can take my textbook anywhere. I don’t have to worry about leaving my textbook at home when I’m running to class because it’s on my phone and online. And I didn’t have to pay anything for it!
That’s why I’m excited that Lemoore College is offering more of these zero cost textbook classes this semester.
