Played numerous tournaments as an amateur with low scores in the 60’s and a one handicap. Never played professionally, my professional status comes as a teaching professional, where I am certified as one of only 150 Master instructors with the United States Golf Teachers Federation.

Teaching Experience:  Currently, at West Hills College, Lemoore: I teach classes in Sport & Exercise Psychology, Health, Biology 10 (online), Theory of Golf, and PE Golf.

Educational Background:
B.A.  Political Science          Southern Illinois University, Carbondale

M.A. Sport Psychology         California State University, Fresno

Team Goals:
Team goals will depend on the make-up of each team, the individuals involved and their own shared commitment to goals that we set together. My program goals are to provide players with an experience of a lifetime, one that they will have positive thoughts of and will be able to say that it was a true learning experience. The dream is to develop one of the foremost programs in the country, using all of the latest knowledge available within and without the sport. My players will be exposed to not only ball striking, but physical conditioning for golf, mental training, and life management skills. Through a combination of physical and psychological skills training my overall goal is to provide an environment where a player may truly develop his or her potential. Players will be worked with as individuals as well as a team member-resources will be developed that will allow the serious player to move on to a four year college—at West Hills he or she will be exposed to the type of programs that Division I teams practice and what is needed to gain a scholarship. For the player, who just wants to play two years of competitive golf, he or she will find support at West Hills College-Lemoore.
