FINANCIAL AID
Applicants should contact the West Hills Community College Financial Aid Office regarding various sources of educational funding. You can also contact your local One Stop office for possible additional assistance


REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION:

  1. Age – 18 or older
  2. Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians Requirements

    High School Diploma or Equivalency. The Board will also accept proof of Associate or Baccalaureate degree as evidence of completing a general course of study through the 12th grade.

  3. Transcripts showing completion of English 101A/B and Math 101 or equivalent, each with a grade of “C” or better or

    a) placement tests to indicate Math and English skill levels.

  4. Once complete applications have been received, a physical and a criminal background investigation will be required.
  5. a) You will be notified by the Psychiatric Technician Program office of dates, times and locations of your background investigation and physical.

    b) Students are responsible for associated costs.
