Announcement

Effective 2017-2018 application period the West Hills College Associate Degree Nursing Program will be implementing an updated Multi-Criteria Selection criteria in accordance with the AB 548.  Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the posted criteria that will be implemented for the next academic year application period.  Additional corresponding forms and links will follow closer to the application period.

Board of Registered Nursing

The Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) is a state governmental agency established by law to protect the public by regulating the practice of regis?tered nurses. The BRN is responsible for implementation and enforcement of the Nursing Practice Act: the laws related to nursing education, licensure, practice, and discipline. The Nursing Practice Act created a nine-member Board which serves as the BRN decision-making body.
