Homework #2
Please read pages 98-101 in your textbook. Complete the"Learning to Improve Job Performance" section and turn it in to my mailbox (or leave it on my desk) by Friday, July 11th.
Homework #3
Read pp. 103 - 109 in your textbook. Please complete the Personal Learning Project section on pp. 106-107. Turn in this assignment by Friday, July 18th.
Career Center Lesson #3 is now posted. Please email me your response by Friday, July 18th.
Final Exam/Project
Your final exam will be a reflective essay. In two - three pages, please describe your plan to continue your learning. What is your career goal? What types of courses, certificates, and/or degrees will you need to gain this type of position? Once you have achieved this goal, how will you continue your learning? What kinds of trainings or classes will you need to continue your education for this job? How might an employer assist you in continuing your learning? What resources can you use to help you with this continued learning?
Please write in essay format (introduction, supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion). Your paper should be typed, double spaced (using 12 point font).
Please bring your final paper with you to our last class meeting.
2nd Class Schedule
You will need to provide another copy of your current class schedule, which must be dated after July 14, 2008 (the last day to drop classes with a "w"), to me by Friday, July 18th. I will need a hard copy for your file to confirm your continued eligibility for this program.
Class Meeting
Our last class meeting will be Monday, July 21st (for my Monday students) and Thursday, July 24th (for my Thursday students). You must attend this class. Please bring your final paper and your last triplicate form (Employer Evaluation and Time Sheet) with you to class.
