A. Vans
WHC Lemoore Campus has 7 vans available to use for events, trips, and sporting activities. There are three 15-passenger vans, one 12-passenger van, and three 7-passenger vans.
B. Van Driver Information
To be a van driver you will need to have your Class B license with P attachment. If you are a full time student you can get your license paid for by WHC and get paid for 20 hours of training. Van Driver starting wage starts at $7.75 an hour.
To do this you will need to bring in a recent copy of your DMV printout, recent WHC transcript, and a copy of your driver's license to Wendy Paxton in the Portable Building 506.
After approval you wil need to study the DMV Driver's Handbook and then take your DMV written exam. After passing your written exam you will get 20 hours of behind the wheel training and then move on to the DMV driving exam.
C. Request Van Transportation
To request a van you will need to fill out several forms. If this is a student field trip you will need to fill out both the Transportation Request and Field Trip Request. Any non-student van request will only need the Transportation Request. Any of these forms can be picked up in the Portable Building 506 with Wendy Paxton.
