Savemart Opening

Big news in Coalinga with the opening of the new SaveMart.  Grand opening ceremonies were held in mid-August and lots of people attended.  The produce section has a wonderful selection of fruits, vegetables and flowers.

Millett ChildrenBabies are in the air at West Hills.  Mark Millett’s family expanded with the birth of Quincy Mark Millett on August 5th at 2 a.m.  He weighed 7 lbs. 4 ozs. and was 20 inches long.  Congratulations Mark and Rozanne.

Had a note from Patty Scroggins (our former director of Child Development who is now heading a consortium headquartered at Merced College) the other day who reports that Carrie (her daughter-in-law and a former WHCC employee in the psych tech department) and Aaron have a new baby on the way.  Madison will get a sibling in early January.  Patty reports that Madison went to her to her first ballgame and had a blast.   She got the cameraman's attention and was put on television.  “So if you watched the A's game at 1:00 on 07/29 and saw a cute two-year-old in a white ball cap - that was our girl.  Grand parenting is too fun!” Patty reports.

Baby Zoe

Speaking of too cute, Madonna Cardenas, another former CD employee, sent a mock California driver’s license for baby Zoe.  Very cute!
