Tuition Reimbursement Benefits

You’re working in the higher education world but you don’t have a degree. Or maybe you have a degree but would like to earn an advanced degree.  Or maybe you would just like to take some classes because a subject interests you.

Whatever the reason, cost should not be a deterrent in your quest for higher education thanks to the Employee Scholars Program open to all full-time West Hills’ employees.
The essentials of the program are:

  • You fill out and get approval on a request form for classes you plan to take at an accredited university or college.
  • You take the class(es) and earn at least a C or a “pass” if you take the course pass/fail.
  • You apply for reimbursement for registration fees, books and tuition (100 percent up to $300 per unit up to a maximum of 10 units per year).
