Classes offered this summer for all ages

 

West Hills College Coalinga will offer summer community education classes for kids and adults beginning June 29th. Classes cost between $40 and $45 and are a week long. All classes will be on the West Hills campus in Coalinga.

 

Below is a list of the classes, dates, time, location and contact information:

  • Robotics class will be on Monday’s, June 15, 22, 29 and July 6, 13. The class is free and for ages 13-17. Class will be held in room F-1 from 8 a.m. to noon. Contact: David Castillo (559) 934-2166.
  • Refresh my math skills, June 29 through July 2. The class is for 3rd and 4th grades and will be held in room E-3 from 9-10 a.m. A class for 5th and 6th grades will be in room E-3 from 10:15-11:15 a.m. Contact: Dolores Gonzalez (559) 246-2426.
  • Theater dance classes will be available June 29 through July 2 in room SA-7. Three classes will be offered for 1st through 3rd grades at 9-10:15 a.m., 4th through 6th grades at 10:15-11:15 a.m. and teen and adults 6-7 p.m. Contact: Katie Delano (559) 934-2720.
  • PowerPoint for kids will be in room E-3 from 9-10 a.m. for 3rd and 4th grades and 10:15-11:15 a.m. for 5th and 6th grades. The class will be held July 6 through 10. Contact: Dolores Gonzalez (559) 246-2426.
  • Study Skills for kids will be offered July 13 through 17. The class for 3rd and 4th grades will be from 9-10 a.m. and the class for 5th and 6th grades will be from 10:15-11:15 a.m. Both classes will be in room 6. Contact: Dolores Gonzalez (559) 246-2426.
  • Reading for kids will be offered in two different classes, one for 3rd and 4th grades and the other for 5th and 6th grades. The class will meet July 27 through 31 in room E-3. Class time for 3rd and 4th grades is 9-10 a.m. and for 5th and 6th grades is 10:15-11:15 a.m. Contact: Dolores Gonzalez (559) 246-2426.
  • Physical Science for kids will be offered August 3 through 7. The 3rd and 4th grade class will be from 9-10 a.m. and the 5th and 6th grade class from 10:15-11:15 a.m. Both will be in room E-3. Contact: Dolores Gonzalez (559) 246-2426.
  • Basic Computer Skills for Senior Citizens will be offered July 20 through 24 in room E-2 from 5-6:30 p.m. Contact: Dolores Gonzalez (559) 246-2426.
  • Basic Computer Skills for Spanish Speakers will be offered July 27 through 31 from 7-8:30 p.m. in room E-2. Contact: Dolores Gonzalez (559) 246-2426.
