Frances Squire

Frances Squire’s first job was irrigating cotton on her family’s farm. She started her career as a newspaper reporter/photographer/editor in her hometown of Corcoran, CA, after graduation from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Before joining West Hills Community College District in Coalinga, CA, in 2001, she served as the public information officer for the utility company serving Central California and the nation’s largest agricultural water district. A community activist, she has served as president or chair of six different non-profit organizations.
