Welcome to the West Hills Community College District information pages on Measure B, our local $49.4 million general obligation bond. When passed, this bond will make the District eligible for up to $79 million in State matching funds.
The cost to local property owners will be about $25 per $100,000 of assessed valuation—about $2 a month.
The benefits will include the next phase of construction at West Hills College Lemoore including additional classrooms and laboratories, a student center and a multi-purpose sports complex with field sports facilities.
West Hills College Coalinga, which was built almost 50 years ago, will have extensive renovations and a new Wellness Center, art gallery and a solar project that will provide energy savings for years to come. The Farm of the Future has $10 million in planned improvements including a covered Ag Expo center and new rodeo grounds.
North District Center , Firebaugh, is due for major modernization and improvements.
All three sites are scheduled for major upgrades in technology that will provide for the educational needs of our students and provide safety and reliability for our systems.
