Tutorial Services
Participants will attend one two-hour tutoring session a week, conducted
at their local high school. A Saturday Program is conducted once a month
during the academic year.

Activities
In addition to academic DEGREES instructing and counseling, students participate in cultural, educational, and recreational activities which represent an important component of the Upward Bound Program. Participants will also attend field trips to areas of interest and to colleges and universities.

Summer Residential Component
A six-week Summer Residency Session will be conducted after each academic year. Students will reside in the West Hills College Coalinga residence halls from Monday morning through Friday evening. Transportation to and from the college will be provided to all Upward Bound participants.

Cost
There is no cost to the participating student or their families for any aspect of the Upward Bound Program.
