Alpha Gamma Sigma is part of the State of California Community College Scholastic Honor Society.  The purpose of the organization is to foster, promote, maintain, and recognize scholarship.  Local chapters develop programs offering cultural, social, or enrichment experiences as part of the total experience for community college students.  Members must be committed to academic excellence.
