Tracey and her son Abram can be seen with Pat Summitt (head coach, Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team) on the web site of www.defeattheheat.com. The web site is packed full of important information regarding heat-related illnesses and prevention.
Athletic Training is a major specialty in the field of sports medicine where active daily involvement with athletes, physicians, and coaches affects the health care and well being of the competitive athlete. Our goal is to help prevent the athletic injury from occurring. Recognizing that some injuries are inevitable, our professional staff is available to render first aid, provide follow-up treatment and rehabilitation, and counsel students and their parents on available treatment options. We also provide medical resources and a full service sports medicine department, necessary to allow our student athletes to return to the field of play as soon as medically safe.
"I love my job because it challenges me every day and I know I am making a difference in the growth and care of another human being."
