        • ?Marjaree Mason Center is looking to fill Case Manager III position in Coalinga CA

          Job Position Summary:

          The Case Manger III will assist and enroll identified clients who are appropriate for DV services through the Family Stabilization Program, in partnership with the Department of Social Services. This position will provide intensive case management services to clients/families of the Coalinga and surrounding area, who are experiencing an identified crisis DV situation, or have barriers pertaining to an overall history of DV. The Case Manager III will monitor each client’s case in order to ensure that clients are maintaining active participation within the FSP program. The Case Manager III will provide direct case services, including but not limited to: advocacy, addressing identified barriers- which can include housing, providing assistance in attaining needed services, goal setting, linkage to needed counseling for them and their children, evaluation of needs, and assists the client in making necessary community linkages in order to support their self-sufficiency goals, much of which is identified and reflected in their “plan of care”. The CM III, will have frequent and ongoing contact with each family, ranging from daily to weekly, depending on the level of need and progress in FSP, via phone and/or in person, along with service providers to determine the effectiveness of services provision. This position must work and communicate effectively with our County of Fresno partner agency, law enforcement, and the community; and will work closely and cooperatively with other MMC services staff to ensure satisfaction with services provided. In addition to direct Case Management services, the CM III will also facilitate the required classes to those enrolled in the FSP program.

          ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

          Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

          • • Work directly with individual clients within home and community settings providing behavior therapy services through a passionate, graceful, and thoughtful approach
          • • Consults with clinical staff (i.e., Behavior Technician and Program Supervisor, BCBA) in the implementation of specific program goals and objectives for clients
          • • Monitors and supports client Behavior Reduction Plan(s)
          • • Uses Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques to work with assigned clients
          • • Uses antecedent and consequence based interventions to reduce maladaptive behaviors and help clients acquire behaviors targeted for increase
          • • Respond effectively to client maladaptive behavior appropriately and in accordance with Behavior Reduction Plan and consultations provided by the clinical team
          • • Apply and implement techniques per Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) guidelines and/or Discrete Trial Training techniques
          • • Plans activities and monitors clients behavior and interactions within various environments; encourages appropriate social skills, interaction with peers, and interaction with familiar adults
          • • Meets bi-monthly with other Program Supervisor, BCBA, parents and other staff to provide feedback and collaborate on the implementation of behavior program goals and behavior reduction plans
          • • Collects and maintains daily data on client performance necessary to the development of goals and objectives for assigned client
          • • Completes company’s training program at the start of employment and participates in ongoing and updated training opportunities offered by the company
          • • Performs other related duties as required

          QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

          Education: Completion of formal or informal education sufficient to possess the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities established for the position; must possess a secondary (i.e., high school) school diploma, or its equivalent (GED). Advanced education, such as an Associate (AA) degree, or education beyond an AA degree is highly desirable.

          Experience: One (1) year of experience providing support services to children with behavioral and emotional needs is desirable.

          Knowledge of:

          • • Applied Behavior Analysis Principles
          • • General knowledge of child growth and development
          • • Positive behavior modification techniques
          • • Company Safety practices
          • First aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

          Licenses Required:

          • Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License and use of a private automobile with valid liability insurance is required.
          • Registered Behavior Technician certification by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board is highly desirable.

          Ability to:

          • Understand and work effectively with clients in instructional situations (i.e., work one on one in an instructional setting)
          • Quickly adapt to changing situations and environments, including the physical ability and stamina needed to maintain oversight of client in situations such as elopement, climbing, crawling, and other physical activities
          • • Make sound clinical judgments with the guidance of Program Supervisor
          • • Perform tasks within a structured time frame
          • Communicate effectively orally and in writing
          • • Compile and maintain records; collect accurate client data on a daily basis
          • • Maintain sensitivity to ethnic, religious, cultural and sexual differences
